Much sympathy is felt, for Mr. Will Jones in the death of his only daughter, Mrs. E. J. Pomeroy, Prior to her marriage a few years ago she spent the greater part ef her life here. Since her mother's death she had lived with her grandmother, Mrs. H. Swinson. A number from there attended Brooklin fair on Saturday and re- ported it the best yet. In the afternoon © the church and Sunday School was filled to capacity and Professor Johnston again dehvered a fine address, this time more especially to the children of the Sunday School, The Sunday School under the leadership of Mrs. A. LL. Rundle, with Miss Sadie Muir at the piano, sang three pretty selec- tion Mrs, (Rev) J. H. Stainton sang a beautiful solo. In the evening at 7.30 o'clock the church was again filled and another very helpfll ses- sion was held, The text was found in St. Matthew 17 and 5. The choir rendered two pretty anthems and quartet, Mesdames W. R. Courtice, K. E. Courtice, A. E. Rundle, C. R. Found, also sang. This brought the Sunday services to a close. On Mon- day at 230 o'clock a crowd again gathered, This time to see about eventy members of the Sunday School present their pageant, entitled, "The Dream of Months." In this two little girls became lost in the woods and when sleep overtakes thew, they have a dream, "The Dream of Months," when each month of the year was acted out in me way, which was characteristic tl month, Each and everyone did his or her part in a very fine manner and the whole pageant was very pretty indeed, Much eredif is due Miss Hattie Osborne, M#s.
