Appearing again in the role of Tex Benton--who was the hero of "The Texan" in which Mix scored a great guccess recently--the Fox star gives what can best be described as a whirlwind performance, There is action from start to fin- ish of 'Prairie Trails," and Mix as Benton is always the centre of it, The story is from the popular novel by James B. Hendryx, author of "ThesTexan". The direction is by George Marshall, and thergfore exceedingly good.y In the cast are Philo McCullough, Charles K. French, Miss Kathleen O'Connor, Miss Gloria Hope and other well known players. There are some beautiful effects, DIED LOCKWOOD, --At Liskard, Wednesday, January 18th, Archie Lockwood, in his year. Because it is finely tempered ii comes back to its original shape with- out taking a permanent bend. When used for boning throughout it gives a soft and pliable corset, yet one that gently moulds the figure to graceful lines. The pones of Double Aluminum Steel are used in Coilene models to give added support and control of flesh where needed and are never placed where they will cause discomfort by pressing on a delicate nerve centre. Each D.AS. is eyeleted at top and bottom with a dainty enamelled eyelet so that "The Bones can't Slip" and tear the underthings. We guarantee that laundering will not hurt the boning, or the perfect fit and fabric of these corsets. CRITICAL REVIEW OF | { Action is the keynote of the sec- ond Katherine Newlin Burt photo- play, "Snowblind." which is being day and Saturday, January 20th and previous {picture "The Branding Iron." "Snowblind" deals with people who live close to the soil, this time in the Canadian Northwest, and know none | of the softer sentiments with which; city folks regulate their lives. From this story Reginald Barker has made a powerful photoplay at the Goldwyn studios.
