Mr. Harold Platten has left for Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he will remain for the harvest, Maste Lloyd and Miss Jean Thompsdn have returned from spend- ing their holidays in Oshawa and Toronto, Mrs. F. Dring visited friends and relatives in Toronto last week. Leask and Son, of | Taunton, won the first prize, gaining | 99 points out of a possible 100, while |R. E. Osborne, of Bowmanville, came second with 98 points. The first seven contestants received prizes, al- though there were several others with more than 85 points. Mr. E. H. Purdy, of Port Perry, acter as judge. {Those who obtained over 85 points were: J.
