Miss Hosie expressed her thanks in a very suitable manner. THOMAS FORMAN The death occurred this week of Elizabeth-Dawson Forman, widow of the late Thomas Andrew Forman, who passed away at her home, 371 Buller street, Woodstock, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Forman was born at Wick, near Port Perry, a daughter of the late Rev. Robert and Mrs. Hen- riutta McArthur, but had been a resi- dent of the city since 1890. Her hus- band, predeceased her in 1923, was a well known merchant here for many years. 2 a: Mrs. Forman was a member' of Chalmers" United Church, and lived a quiet retired life for the most_part. She will be remémbered by many of the older citizens. ~--Surviving her is. one daughlel Henrietta - of this city; two grand- children, Elizabeth and James Cullen; {and two. brothers, Robert McArthur, of San Francisco, and Henry Mec- Arthur, in Texas. The funeral was held from her late residence on Tyesday, with interment in the Presbyterian cemetery. The late Mrs. Forman was educated in the Public and High Schools in Port Perry. -She was considered. one of the cleverest students in Classics who .ever passed through the school.
