The announcement in the Port Perry Star of a rugby game last Thursday afternoon proved to be a false alarm, but the game on Tuesday, November 6th, was not. Our boys played here with Bowmanville Jrs, and although they came out on the short end of a 7-2 score, it was a great improvement on the game at Bowman- ville. This is the boys' first year at rugby, so let's give 'em a hand, every- body. Our next literary meeting will be held to-morrow at 8 o'clock in the High School Auditorium. The meet- ing, based on Armistice Day, will be in charge of the Middle School pupils. Everybody is welcome.
