Tuesday at 8 p.m. Mrs. Lewis Hortop On Friday the 21st of January the late Mrs. Elizabeth V. Hortop was called very suddenly to her reward. Mrs. Hortop spent practically all her highly respected. She was born on the 9th Concession of Reach and was the only daughter of the: late Mr. sonn Ward. Her husband, Mr, Lewis tiortop pretleceased her some 17 years ago after they had spent 21 years 'of happiness, . Two daughters, Mrs, Elva Dowson and Miss Sadie Hortop mourn a mother's devoted love. A brothes, Mr, George Ward, of Bethesda also survive her. The sincerest sympathy of the whole community goes out to the bereaved family. The Rev. W. J. H, Smyth conducted a private funeral at the home of the deceased and the remains were laid to rest in Kendall's Cemetery, Utica.
