WILLIAM MILNER Mrs. Wm. Milner, of Port Perry,' died early Monday morning, October 2nd, 1939. She was twice married, her first husband being Mr. Madgett by whom she had two daughters, Eva Madgett, Toronto, and Mrs. H. Hayes, Scugag, both of whom survive her. . Some years after the death of her former husband, Mrs, 'Madgett was married to William Milner. They lived in Toronto for many years, where they were actively engaged in church work. In recognition of their faithful service in Davenport United Church, they were presented with a handsome grandfather clock and an appreciative address. Mrs. Milner was particular- Iy intertsted in the work of the Woman's Missionary Society. Mr. and Mrs. Milner who formerly had moved to Scugog Island some five years ago, have been residents of Port Perry for some eighteen months. The funeral service was conducted by Rov.- Mr. Smyth, assisted by Rev. 'sir. McKay, of the Davenport Road Church.
