Mitchell, of Stouffville, has conducted the services in the Port Perry United Church, His sermons have been most helpful and inspiring, scholarly in their content, and chal- lenging to all who heard him. The greatness and true happiness of the Christian life formed the theme of his addresses, which were broad enough to admit all who are willing to accept the teachingse of Christ as tha rule of life. On Sunday evening last Dr. Mitchell based his "sermon, on Augusting's creed-- "A whole Christ for my salvation; A whole Bible for my stall; A whole church for my fellowship; A whole world for my parish."
