During the business period a motion carried that we give the Port Perry W.A. ten dol- lars toward parsonage expenses. Mr. and Mrs, A. Brunt, Mona ahd Carl, of Enniskillen, visited her sister' Mrs. Orr Jeffrey, recently, Mr, and 'Mrs, H. Cannon, Toronto, Murs, Mr, Roy Henders., 'Luzerne Sweetman, Mrs, J, L. Corporal Sweetman to Toronto, on Sunday after his two week's furlough. Miss Alma Hope of Port Perry, spent the week end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hope. The sympathy of the community is Hiram Fralick. Mr, Wesley Collins, 'another Scugog son, eldest son of Mr. George and the late Mrs. Collins, who lived on the farm where Mr, Fred Pearce now lives, and where Wesley was born 67 years ago. Mr, Collins died in a To- ronto hospital after a month's jliness, The funeral was held from A. L. Mec- Dermott's Funeral Home, on Sunday afternoon, and he was laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. The sympathy of the community is extended to his wife and his father, Mr. George Collins, and his brother Elgin and sister Minnie(Mrs, Nichols) all of Port Perry. Miss Luella Jeffrey is spending a few week's with her brother Gordon, in Port Perry. Mrs. D. Hope, Mrs. R. Henders and Mrs. W. Mark spent a pleasant after- noon on Friday, willing at Mrs. O. Jeffrey's. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hope visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C, Mills in Port Perry on Sunday.
