Redman, In spite of the rainy wea- ther, a large attendance of 66 people, young and old, spent a very enjoyable evening, The honoured guests, Rev, 'F. G. Joblin, our former pastor of Bowmanville, and Rev, W, C. Smith, of Port Perry, who was ghest speaker for the evening. Rev. H. W. Foley took charge of the devotional part of the program opening with a hymn The president, Anson Gerrow, conducted the Literary portion calling first on a group of girls for a chorus, Miss Joan Pearson of Oshawa sang the werses of Mexi- cali Rose, the girls, Misses Evelyn, Joyce, Lois and Mary Reader of Scu- gog, joining in the chorus. Hall, Oakville. he Altogether 85 animals owned by 74 breeders in seven provinces of the Dominion have been nominated for the All-Canadian Contest which is being conducted by the Holstein-Friesian Journal, Of these nominces, 60 are from Ontario.
