Farmer was in Toronto last Wednesday and attended a meeting of the Liberal Association held in the King Edward Hotel. é Reeve W. M. Letcher is attending the June Session of the County Coun- cil at Whitby this week, = Mrs. N. Wilkinson is visiting with friends in Fort Evie for a few weeks. Real has returned from Ottawa where she spent the past week with her son Grant and Mrs. Real. FIDELITY LODGE, A. F. & A. M. ATTEND DIVINE WORSHIP The members of Fidelity Lodge, A. I. & A.M. marched to the United Church on Sunday morning for their annual Sunday service. About forty officers and members were present. Rev. Bro. Clifford Smith cohducted the service, using as his text "According to the grace of God which is given un- to me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. A setting of standards of gladiolus, snapdragons, roses and sweet peas in Emmanuel College Chapel, Toronto, on Thursday, June 1st, formed a back- ground for the marriage of Marian Thelma Franklin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Franklin, and - Wilmot Samuel Croxall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Croxall. The bride, who is a divinity student at Vietoria College, and the groom were united in mar- riage by Rev. L. E. Atkinson, of Ux- bridge. Miss Noreen Croxall and Os- wald Croxall, brother and sister of the groom, were soloists; The bride wore a gown of shell satin with finger-tip veil and carried Sweetheart roses, sweet peas and lily of the valley.
