Phone 80 Port Perry DURHAM COUNTY CO-OPERATIVE MEDICAL SERVICES The Durham County Co-operative Medical Services held their. quarterly directors' meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rae Stewart, on June 21st, 1948. After the minutes had been read and adopted as read, the secre- tary gave his report stating that there were 283 members up to that ~ date and that after all bills had been paid there was over $2400 in the .bank., He reported that several or- ganizations were working on new membership and there would be con- siderable increase in membership in the next few months, The matter of advertising was thoroughly discussed and it was de- cided to have dodgers printed to be distributed at the Federation picnic on June 26th in Orono, and to also "have a booth at which information could be given to those interested. The matter of recommendations for patronage dividends was left in the hands of a committee composed of Clare Allin, Robert Moffatt and the Secretary, this report to be given at the next directors' meeting. The quarterly bills were presented and on motion were approved and ordered to be paid. © Owing to the fact that the Movement is growing so 'rapidly, it was decided to recommend at the annual meeting that the direct- increased from 9 to 12 members, .
