The activity periods are now advan- cing into the second week and with very good co-operation from the stu- dents, They are running quite smooth- ly. _Each day the pupils excluding fifth form have a choice of many ac- tivity periods from which they choose the one that they are most' interested in. These periods come daily, at the end of the regular nine periods. Last Thursday, Uxbridge volleyball teams invaded P.P.H.S, The Port Perry teams just couldn't seem to un- ravel themselves before their rivals, The home teams lost both of thelr games. The scores being: "Juniors: Uxbridge 30--P.P, 27 Seniors: - Uxbridge 81--P.P. 29 On Friday of last week the Liter- ary Society held their annual Sadie Hawkins dance. This is the dance where the girl hooks the boy instead of vice-versa, Mr. and Mrs. Crane were present to judge the corsages supplied by the girls for -the boys. Thanks to.the determined efforts of Miss Blostein and the Literary Society the dance was quite successful.
