'An amendment - "to the Highway Traffic Act which becomes effective that date also stipulates that all school buses must have seating capacity for at least ten passengers. The Order-in-Councll making the amendment also details the manner in which school buses must be marked by motorists. The order arising to school vehicles operating on a highway outside a city, town, village, police village or built-up area. These vehicles must have print- | ed on the front in large letters the words 'School Bus" and on the rear, "Do not pass when bus is stopped." Regulations require that the Jetter- ing be colored black on a white or yellow background. School vehicles will also be required to have two amber-coloured flashing signal lights on the front and two red on the reat; visible under all daylight conditions from 600 feet.
