No future plans were laid due to uncertainty of road conditions at this time of year, A contest was won by Mrs, Ballard and Mrs. Handel, ' The ladies of the community are making a quilt in aid of the Utica Community Hall Building Fund, Mrs. Jim Philip is in charge. The men of the community are working at the platform of .the hall now. The gov- ernment grant of over two thousand dollars has been received, Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. J. McNally of Oshawa. She was the sister of Mrs. Frank Kight of this village. The funeral was held in Oshawa at the McIntosh Funeral Home on Wednesday aftér- noon with interment at Breadalbane Presbyterian cemetery, Utica, Sympathy is extended to the fam- ily of the late Mrs. Bill Ross, who died in St. Michael's Hospital, Tor- onto, last week.
