District Churches SCUGOG PASTORAL CHARGE (Scugog Island, Manchester, Praspect United Churches) Owing to the fact of the examinat- ions approaching, we have cancelled the meeting of our P.M.S. H. C. Club this Thursday. High scorer and a great help in both games was Alice Williams. Great credit goes to Miss Brock their Coach. Scores--1st game--Port Perry 36, Stouffville 33; 2nd game Port Perry 26, Birks Falls 22 (Final). We also recognize Mr. Parkinson as the coach of the Senior 'B' boys, for on Friday, March 2nd, the same day on which the latter two games were played the boys were also getting ready to play their games. They won the semi-finals with a wonderful game. The score being: Port Perry 46, Pickering College 28. But"were not so fortunate in the Finals, the score of which was: Bracebridge 49, Port Perry 40. . The annual "At 'Home"" dance is over for another year. This year's being even bigger and better, for over 140 couples attended. The gym was elaborately decorated in an oriental theme and the lunch was served by candlelight. After lunch there was entertainment and then more dancing to the music of Wes Jackson's or- chestra.
