After other business had been taken care of, installation , was next in order and Sister Fickes THE PORT PERRY STAR, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24th, 1957--8 Wedding BUTTERY - CROSIER Seagrave United Church was the scene of a beautiful wedding on Sat., October 12, when Jeannie Vera Crosier was united in marriage to Kenneth Norman Buttery. Rev. Mr. McNeil performed the double ring ceremony. The tall white candelabra and large white mums at the altar made a beautiful setting as the bride came down the aisle on the arm of her father, looking lovely in a floor-length gown of imported lace mounted on satin and shaped with interlon for a sculptured look, the long sleeves tap- ered at the wrists. Her veil was shoulder length at- tached fv a tiara of seed pearls, the entire front glistened with dainty teai- drop pearls. She carried a white Bible with a white orchid and streamers with tiny baby mums attached. Shirley Anne was maid of honour for her sister and the bridesmaids were Marion Buttery, "sister of the groom and Noreen Ross, of Uxbridge. The wee flower girl was Mary Jane, the Bride's sister. They were gowned alike in three different shades of Chrystallete, the maid of honour in Emerald green, the. bridesmaids in Bronze, and the flower girl in Autumn Gold. Their dresses had boat shaped neck- lines with folded collars gathered at intervals with fitted waistlines and beuffant skirts.
