RUSSELL SPINKS bertha Rahme, beloved wife of Russell Spinks, 371 Rossland Rd. W., Oshawa, passed away in Oshawa General Hos- pital, Friday, March 14, 1958. She was in her 68th year. : A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rahme, the deceased was born in Cartwright township, August 17th, 1890. She was married to Arthur Ed- gar Wilson, and lived in Myrtle, then Burketon for a number of years. In Burketon, Mr. Wilson died. Some years later, she on May 16th, 1946, married Russell Spinks. They moved to Oshawa. She was a member of Burketon United Church, but attended and worked in the Anglican Church with Mr. Spinks. She was also an active member of Shirley Women's Institute. husband, three sons, Robert and Edgar Wilson of Oshawa; and Harold Wilson serving with the R.C.A.F. jn Germany; also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Queenie Mackin of Oshawa; and five brothers, William, Talmadge, Mervin and Elwood Rahme of Oshawa, and Russell Rahme, of Bowmanville. Memorial serivce was held at the Armstrong Funeral Chapel, on Mon- day, March 17th. Rev. R. B. Green minister of Enniskillen and Burketon United Churches conducted the service. Interment was in Pine Grove Ceme- tery, Prince Albert, Ont. The pallbearers were Gordon Rahme, Earl Rahme, William Rahme, Stanley, Russel, Elwood Shackleton and Doug- las Shackleton. The mafiy floral tributes spoke of the high esteem in which deceased was held.
