The September meeting of the Women's Assoclation of the United Church was held at the home of Mrs. Merrill VanCamp. Forty-three en- thusiastic ladies arrived in the pour- ing rain and after the meeting .de- clared they were well repaid for com- ing out. We were pleased to have a good number present and also to welcome some quests fron Raglan, Mrs, Walter Manns and Mrs. Mahaffey, Mrs. Stanley Manns and Mrs. Birkett. Following the opening hymn "Day is Dying in the West", the Lord's Prayer was repeated. Doreen read the Scripture from Galatians and Leona Barry read our devotional study on the "Christian as an Indi- vidual." The Roll Call was answered by a Biblical name. Following the minutes our business was discussed and prov- ed to be a very lengthly discussion. We voted $6.00 to the newly formed to the Hospital Auxiliary. We are very pleased with our new dishes for the Head tea room and hope to be using them to serve lunch to the vis- iting choir on Anniversary Sunday, ed further and many lovely articles were brought in.
