With this in mind the W.A. of the Head met last Wed. evening in the comfortable church tea-room. 15 members answered the roll eall with a donation of $2. to take the place of food for our summer bake sale, Thanks to all the ladies who sent their money. The result netted us $43.00 which will help in the improvement of the heating system, Thanks to Mrs. Rodman our W. A. has again been given credit for 12 baby binders for the hospital. Following the de- votion and business, Bonnie Gerrow gave a reading very appropriate to W.A, groups. While lunch was being set out by Helen 'Redman's group, Reta Reader brought us up to date with coloured slides of community in- terest. .. The three schools are back on the job with fresh enthusiasm and new books. Mrs, Beckett at the Head has 2b pupils with Debbie Leahy, Ruth Wilson and David Middleton as be- ginners along with 8 Autumn pupils from Oshawa. Mrs. Aldred at the Centre registers 20 with Kay Dem- ara as a beginner. Mr. Boston from Fenelon Falls has charge of 29 pupils at the Foot with Ronnie Crozier and Marilyn Johnson as beginners.
