Mrs. John Scott is spending this week in Toronto. Jack Green returned home Sunday after he and two friends from Lind- say had spent ten days in Bermuda, The Hall was packed on Friday ev- ening for the annual High School Commencement Exercises. Dr. J, Me- Arthur, chairman of the Board wel- comed the parents, as did the prin- cipal Mr. G. Paisley, in his opening remarks. There was the usual presentations of prizes, diplomas and scholarships during the evening. The pupils of Blackstock High School have made a good standing and parents and teach- ers can well be proud of their school. Entertainment was provided by-the Girls Choir who sang several num- bers very nicely and by Doris Griffen with a piano selection. The boys of Grade 18 demonstrated tumbling ex- ercises and a fine cast of pupils pre- | sented a one-act play which we all enjoyed very much. Congratulations to" all successful pupils and their teachers for their fine showing.
