Despite the rain and ice there was a very good attendance. After conducting devotional exercises Rev. Romeril gave a pleasing talk, thanking all for the splendid co-opera- Cartwright Charge and suggesting that there be more stress laid on Bible Fellowship and Layman's Fellowship in this year. Romeril conducted the worship period, stressing Love, Goodness for the sake of Goodness, and after a hymn and prayer, installed the officers. Lunch -| was served by the group and a social half hour spent. ' O.N.O.. are again conducting the Mothers' March of Dimes and expect to call on all before Feb. 1st. If any one is away when they call or roads are so the girls cannot get to your home would you kindly contact Mrs. J. Ballingall, The girls are hoping to be received as warmly as usual. The 0.N.O. met at the home of Nor- een Malcolm Thursday night with 22 members present. Last year's presi- dent and secretary completed the years business. Almost $185.00 was realized from the New Year's Eve dance. Nominating committee pre- sented the following slate of officers: president, Elaine Bailey; 1st Vice- President, Jessie Gunter; 2nd V. Glad to report Mrs. Ed Darcy and Mr. Bart Van Ryswyk able to be home from hospital, Mrs. Geo. Saunders and sons Len. and Donald and mother Mrs. Brown have moved to their new home in Caesarea. Mr. and Mrs. Roy McLaughlin and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Murphy and family in Bowmanvillle on Sunday. Mrs. Wm. McLaughlin, of Burketon, is spending a while with Mr. and Mrs. Roy McLaughlin and family. Sunday she visited Mr. and Mrs. Ross Ashton and familq, Haydon. Mr. and Mrs. Richard VanCamp and Louise visited Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mor- row, Hilton, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Abbott, Ottawa visited Mr, and Mrs. Chas.
