Prospect PROSPECT W.A. Although Thursday, March 9th was a blowy, blustering night, many ven- tured out to "the home .of Mrs. Mosienko, who was hostess to our Prospect Women's Association. Helen called the meeting to order and all repeated the Motto and The Lord's Prayer. Ruby read the Scripture and Mrs, Vernon the Lesson Thoughts. Helen led in Prayer. Tot then intro- duced Miss Gladys Joblin, who we love to have visit us. Miss Joblin led us through a most interesting journey to France and Germany, humourously commenting on various memorable as- pects of her trip, and then finally leading us to Oberammergau, scene of the Passion Play. We were thrilled | by her colourful and warm descriptions and were appreciative of the postcards - pictures and booklets which Miss Job- lin thoughtfully brought along. Miss Joblin is indeed endowed with that wonderful talent of being able to con- vey her experiences in such a way as | to allow one to picture her remarks in. one's mind and fully participate mn ner experiences, Helen then extended our thanks to Miss Joblin and we all felt our venture out had been most worth- while. Meanwhile, the wind was doing its best to increase our fears that we should be getting back home, so a very hurried business session ensued. There were some lovely articles brought in for the layette for Norway House and of course more will be forthcoming. Tot reported that four large boxes of used clothing had been taken to the Scott Mission last week, There will be more packed later so we must keep this in mind as spring cleaning progresses. On a motion by. Kay and seconded by Willa, a donation of $16. 00 will be sent to the W.M.8, Mrs. Vernon invited -the ladles to hold the next meeting at her home. We were happy to meet Joanne again and she favoured us once more with a lovely' piano- selection by Chopin. The meeting closed with the Theme Song and Pray- er. A lovely lunch was served during which time Lucille read 'Spring Fever' an encouraging number; for even though we felt-we -must-hurry. home*. her poem ended with the words "It's just a touch of spring". , am k um Notice to Creditors IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF ISAAC LESLIE MOUNTJOY, DECEASED the estate of Isaac Leslie Mountjoy, late of the Township of Cartwright, in the County of Durham, Retired Farmer, who died on or about the 2nd day of February, A.D., 1961, are hereby notified to send to the under- signed on or before the 81st day of March, 1961, full particulars of their claims.
