Toronto Argos. Such well-known Can- adian professional football stars as Davie Mann, "Nobby" Wirkoski, Norm Stoneburgh, Steve Radzik and Frank Black are' among the players sched- dled to act as "teachers" at the school on Saturday morning, when the basic fundamentals of football will be re- viewed - but in addition, the exper: fenced veterans will also pass along a wealth of other information and "tips" of tremendous value to the young football player. The Oshawa "Imps", who have com- peted in the Junior Football Confer- ence of the past twa seasons, will of course expect a full turnout of all players still eligible for Junior foot- ball (21, or under, Dec. 31, 1961). Last year the "Imps" made a credit- able showing in this very strong lea gue, with a team of young players, most of whom will be back with tne club this season. Ontario County 8 Junior Farmers EXECUTIVE MEET The Executive and Directors of the Ontario County Junior Farmers' As- sociation met at the home of Alvin bridge, on Thursday evening, March 28rd. The "At Home" Dance committee reported that final arrangements had been made for the dance which will be held in the Port Perry Public School, on Friday, April 7th, at 9:00 p.m. The music .will be provided by Harry Hawkin's Orchestra, Lindsay. The theme for the dance is "An En- chanted Evening". An new feature will be the crowning of an Ontario County Junior Farmer "Queen"." A turkey buffet lunch will also be ser ved. Tickets are available from ali members of the county executive. On Saturday, May 20th, the Ontario County Junior Farmers' Association will hold their annual spring play } party in the Township Hall, Brooklin. The annual Ontario County Junio: Farmer Livestock Judging Competi- tion will be held in the Brooklin aves, on Saturday, May 27th at 10.00 a.m. The annual Ontarlo County Field Day will be held in the Brooklin area on Saturday, June 24th. The pro- gramme will include track and field events, softball tournaments, rifle shoot and a square dance competition. Frank Barkey, President, thanked the various committees for thefr very fine reports. The next executive and directors meeting will be held in early June to finalize the plans for the field day and to discus the summer and fall programmes.
