Wilson that the min- utes of Meeting #4 of March 22, 1962 be adopted as printed, with the foll- owing correction--That T. Wilson be included in the names of members present. Carried. Mr. J. Dryden questioned the legal- ity of collecting fees for consents, re- zoning ete. Following discussion it was Moved by Wm. Manning, Sec- onded by J. Dryden that before sched- "ule of fees become effective that legal opinion be obtained whether it is within the powers of the Planning Board or Council to establish a sched- ule of fees. Mr. Robert E. Dale, Solicitor rep- resenting Humberforth Investments Ltd. was present regarding application for re-zoning of parts of Lot 19 and 20, Concession 1, Township of Whitby. Mr. Dale advised the Board that his client had an option on this parcel re-zoning of 39.269 acres to C-1 for a shopping centre, 1386 ft. frontage on #2 Highway and a depth of 1238 ft. south of Kendal- wood. Following discussion it was Moved by Wm. Manning, Seconded by H. Down that Chairman appoint a Com-| mittee of Planning Board to study and bring back prelimindty recomim- endation to next meeting and further recommend that Planning 'Consultant be requested to make study of this Carried Chairman suggested that the Corr- idor Committee of Messrs.
