St. John--65. ---- Obituaries EDGAR BALFOUR The death of Edgar Balfour, of Port Perry, occurred sudden- ly Monday, Oct. 14, at Com- munity' Hospital, -Port Perry. He was in his 83rd year. Born Dec. 22, 1880, in Prince Albert, Ontario, he was a son Nancy Moore. He received his education in that area and, in 1907, he married the former Ida Amelia Holmes in Toronto. Mrs. J. Anglican Church of the Ascen-! sion. Mr. Balfour'was a keen sports | "enthusiast, interested in hockey, | baseball and lacrosse. For some years he was caretaker of the Community Memorial Arena.
