Roy Morton, of Port Perry, Ontario. Reverend David Harris per- formed the ceremony before an alter decorated with the gladio- las and mums. Miss Betty Couves provided 'the music at the organ and Mr. Wayne' Powell, Port Perry, was soloist. Given in marriage by her father, the . bride wore a floor length gown of delustered sat- in, featuring round neckline, lily point sleeves, bell shaped skirt and detachable train with lace appliques and two rosettes:- A' bouffant veil was held in place by a tiara of seed pearls and she carried a cascade bou- quet 'of baby orchids and white stephanotis. The bride was attended by Mrs. Bruce Dempsey of Port Perry as matron of honour, Miss Beatrice Lee of Green- bank and Miss Jayne Carnegie of Port Perry as bridesmaids. They - wore identical street length gowns pf antoque gold peau de soie with -detachable tiered overskirts and matching rosette hats. Their cascade bouquets were of yellow and bronze mums with wheat sprays accenting the autumn hues. The flower girl Miss Dawn Real was dressed similarly in gold peau de soie. Master Scott Wilbur ring bearer in white flannel suit. The groom was attended by Mr. Grant Menzies, Saintfield, and ushers were Mr. Richard Carnegie, Port Perry and Mr. Barry Beare, Greenbank. The] groom and his attendants were identically attired -in -Charcoal grey suits. Receiving at the reception which followed in the church parlours, Mrs. Beare wore a dress of fiesta pink peau de soie with cap sleeves. The draped skirt accented the lace bodice gathering it into soft folds. She wore a white feathered hat, matching accessories, and white corsage of baby roses and mums. The mother of the groom, Mrs. Morton wore a dress of lucerne blue peau de soie;, cap sleeves and a tiered. skirt. She wore matching accessories and a corsage of light pink baby roses. The couple left on a wedding trip to a lodge. in the north country, the bride travelling in a mint green bouclaie suit with a matching fur collar and hat and black accessories. Harris, R.R. 1, Burketon was united in marriage with William John Chapman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry. Rev. Philip Romeril was the officiating clergyman. The wed- ding music was played by Mrs. Gordon Strong, who is church organist and also an aunt of the groom. Mr. Percy Preston, Lindsay, a 'cousin of the groom sang "Oh Perfect Love" and" "The Wedding Prayer". Given in marriage by her fa- ther, the bride wore a floor length gown 'of white peau de soie, featuring a scoop neckline end lily point sleeves. Pearl applique accented the bodice and back skirt panels. A crown of pearl dnd white leaves held her shoulder length weil and she carried Tawny gold roses and stephanotis, Mrs. Murray Birkett, Port Perry was Matron of honor for her sister.
