Increase Grant A Regular Meeting of the Council of the Township of Whitby was held in the Council - Chambers, Brooklin on Monday, October 28th, 1963 at 7.40 p.m. + with all members present. Deputations & Interviews Mr. Bruce Lehman, Sec'y- Treas. of the Brooklin Fair was present to discuss with Council | the terms under which the park rental payments could be brought up to date. By an ar- rangement of many years stand- | ing the Fair Board paid to the Township a sum equal to 5%¢ of the Spring Fair gate receipts as rental of the Park for fair _ The last such payment in the amount of $47.23 was made in 1958. In the intervening years no payments were made, possibly cil members, and the annual: grants to the Fair were con- tinued until 1962.
