Angels Start To Practice Donn Hurst knows it's no ac- curate harbinger of things to come when the real shooting starts, but he was more than happy after his 1964 Angel's open their practices on Staur- day past (April 25th), and all last week, and this week too. Now that the season is offi- | cially underway for Seagrave, the situation presents quite a dilemma for Donn in his second year as coach and Mgr. of the club. It's entirely possible, but hardly probable, that the Angels could field a strong lineup, that would give them power & speed. This year we are not looking for as many victories as we had last year. We'll be satisfied with a 60-409 showing in this club. Now that we are in Ban- tam competition, wins will not come as easy as last year. On this 60-409, showing, we base this on seven games played, winning 4, losing 3, or wining Either way we'll be satisfied. The way we have set this up, the boys are also satisfied as they'll be play- ing a greater number of games, Players who have taken part in the workouts are: Doug Hughes, Bob Nagle, Jim Night- ingale, Raymond Whitfield, Donald Harper, Phillip Elger, Dale Hallett, Brian Marquis, Gary Hunter, Eugene Hurst, Billy Wanamaker, Ronald Cro- sier, Murray Durward and Greg Baker.
