Mrs. Jack Parry of Jessie's Beauty Salon attended the Hair Stylists' Show at the King Ed- ward Hotel on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brock have left for their annual win- ter holiday in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Godley, Mary Street, celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on Saturday. All tickets for the annual "At Home" of the Port Perry High School have been sold, and a record crowd is anticipa- ted. Mr. and Mrs. George Emmer- son have returned from their cruige of the Carribbean. mott have left for holidays in the South. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Reesor, entertained at their home in Agincourt, last Saturday even- ing, in honour of their grand- mother, Mrs. Fred E. Reesor, who will be celebrating her birthday ¥ this coming Friday. The evening was spent in playing euchre and the prize winners were: Mrs. Fred E. Reesor, Mrs. s Ronald Gibson, Donald Gibson and Kenneth Dowson. The hosts served a delicious luncheon which had been pre- pared by members of the family and a birthday cake was pre- sented to the guest of honour on behalf of the grandchildren. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Reesor, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gibson and daug- hters, Elizabeth and Donna Jean; Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Dowson, son, Kenneth and daughters, Shirley and Nancy; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reesor and son, Larry and Mr. Donald Gibson, all of Port Perry; Miss Maureen McMaster, of Oshawa and Mr. and Mrs. Hartwell Powers, of Unionville Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hastings have returned from a pleasant visit in Arizona with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. aad Mrs. Lee Reamsbottom and daughter Terry. . Mrs. Merlin Dowson enter- tained at a surprise party in honour of his wife who celeb- rated her birthday recently. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Reesor, Fred E. Reesor, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vernon also Mn and Mrs Charles Reesor and Larry. We regret to report that Mrs. Herbert Howard of Union Avo. had the misfortune to fall in front of the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Gerrow, a week ago Sunday and broke her wrist. Miss Millicent Luke, presi ABI TRAN dent, opened with Bible read- ing and prayer, Mrs. M. Chapman, secretary, read the roll call of presidents! and offigers. Reports were re- ceived from all committee chainman. Mrs. Stephen Say- well, .Leadership convenor spoke of an important date of the Workshop to be held 'in Campbell on March 1st, 1965. Each organization would be well advised to have a repre- sentative at this meeting, Mrs. Lloyd Pegg, nomination secretary made a plea for names to fill the offices of the presbyterial executive. A donation was made to the Glenholme Sheltered workshop for the printing of the pro- grams for the Third annual meéting of the Oshawa Presby- terial to be held at Simcoe St. United Church on Thursday, February 11th, at 1.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. when Rev. T.E.F. Honey, Board of World Miss- ions, United Church of Canada will address the gathering in the evening. Treasurer, Mrs, G. C. Pirie, presented the financial report. BEST BUY!
