Jeffery, of Prince Albert on the occassion of her 86th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. John Millman were in London on Saturday. 'Mr. Donald Asling attended the United Church Men's Sup- per Meeting in Uxbridge. Miss Deanne Card and Mr. Eric Benns were supper guests on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kendry. There will be a Valentine Supper in the Church on Feb. 12th, at 7 p.m. Following this there will be a Variety Pro- gramme with the young people participating, Mrs. R. Rodd will recite. It was also noted that applications for Social In- surance Numbers are still being received at a rate of about 5,000 per day; Commission records re- veal that many of these are from people who already have a Social Insurance Number. The UIC emphasizes that, for their own good, Canadians must not have more than one Social Insurance Number.
