LETTER from the Dept. of Municipal Affairs, dated Jan. 28, 1965 fre Municipal Works Assistance Program. ~--%Since-the Municipalities and School Boards have not taken full adavantage of the funds which were made available to them in accordance with my memorandum to all munieipali- ties under date of December 17, 1963, I am .now in a position to make an additional alloca- tion of funds available to your municipality. An application for a Commit- ment for a Loan may be made to the Municipal Subsidies Branch on the following terms: (a) The Application for a Committment for a Loan must be completed and its eligibility will be consider- ed on a "first come - first served" basis; (b) The maximum available to a municipality will be $100,000.00; and (¢) The project or projects to be financed must be ones which it is possible to sche- dule for commencement prior to September 1, 1965. Since the total amount avail- able for distribution under this particular system of allocation is only $8,000,000.00, I would suggest that if your municipal- ity wishes to participate in this additional distribution, an Ap- plication for a Commitment for a Loan be submitted on the prescribed forms to the Muni. cipal Subsidies Branch as soon as possible, LETTER from Pye & Grant 0il Ltd, dated Feb. 6th, 1965.
