About forty friends & neigh- bours of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hill met at the school to form- ally, bid them "good-bye" and wih them happiness in their new home at Greenbank. The evening was spent playing Euchre. Mrs. John Crozier had the high count and Mr. Wm. Hill the low. The neighbours presented Harry and Doris with a Pole Lamp and a Chair, A bounti. ful lunch was served. Mrs, Lloyd Payne and Mrs. Murray Geer planned the- party and acted as co-hostesses. A large crowd of friends and well wishers gathered in the Sunday School rooms to tender a community shower to Miss Doris Tripp prior to her mar. riage which took place in Ep. som Church last Saturday. Mrs. Whitty has been to New Jersey to visit some members oi her family. Before she ar- rived home she contracted pneu- monia and had to remain for several days at the home of her scr in Erindale.
