Mr. and Mrs: Raymond Kerry and Grant of Greenbank were supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kerry on Sunday. ~ Mr. and Mrs. Walter Asling and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald As- ling of Ajax visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Asling on Sunday. Mrs. Walter Kerry visited with Mr. and Mrs. Cloyne Ste- erman on Sunday and Mrs. H. Kerry visited with Mrs. Herb. Pearson on Sunday. I received a card from Mrs. Neeson last week and was very pleased to learn that she is en- joying the winter in Florida with friends. We will be so happy to see her upon her re- turn in May. Mr. and Mrs. G. Prentice, Murray and Ross visited with Mr. and Mrs. M. MhcCannell in Whitby one evening last week. Ross Prentice has been home for a couple of weeks preparing for exams. : / Mrs. Doris Hockley & Wayne of Unionville have been visit- ing her parents Mr .and Mrs. Wilfred Evans for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kerry were guests of Mr. and Mus. Norman Downs of Oshawa on their Golden Wedding Anniv- ersary last Wednesday. Mr. Roy Asling of Pierson's Landing visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Asling recently. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wilson were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Gordpn Pren- tice were supper guests at the home of Mr and Mrs. A. Noble of Ashworth on Sunday. Mr. aad Mrs. Ray Edwards attended Open House on Sat- urday at the Lindsay Training School. There was a program and tea and cake was served to the guests. Mf. and Mrs. George John- son called on Mr. and Mrs. A. Powell on Saturday evening. I suppose we will soon be losing Mr. and Mrs. B. Haugen. Louise was telling me that the painters are all finished at their new home. Mr. Ross Bailey and Mr. Gary Jackson have returned home after being in Manitoba for a week. * * * Epsom U.C.W. On April 7, the regular meet- with the president, Mrs. Mill- man geading- the lesson entitled "Thoughts of Easter" followed by prayer. Hymn, "All Hail the Power of Jesus Name" was sung. Mrs. Ruth Wilson read the Scripture. Devotions & Prayer were taken by Mrs. Millman. The minutes of the previous meeting were read & approved, ~~ The U.C.W. annual Anniver- sary Service May 2nd will be taken by Mrs. Harris of Green- bank who will be accompanied by the Greenbank Trio who will lead-in service of song. The Annual "Clean up" bee will be held the last Thurs. in April, A vote was taken to see which refrigerator would be bought for the parsonage. Each member will make a cash gift to the U.C.W. at the May meeting instead of the May bake sale. Bale and Layette donations must be in at the June meeting. The Sec. to write to Fairview Lodge to make arrangements to hold our July or Aug. meeting there, The collection was received & dedicated.
