Stephens and Mrs. BE. Vernon met with Council, as a deputation, on behalf of the Port Perry Community Memor- ial Recreation Centre. Mr. Godley, acting as spokes- man, stated that th¢y have now received a report from the Canadian Mitchell Associates Ltd. giving the structural con- dition of the arena roof with six alternative prices for strengthening and re-roofing from the ridge to the hip; the cost ranging from $13,000 to $22,500. Mr. Godley reported on the Arena having a bank balance of approximately $12,000 and would be prepared to spend from $6000. to $7000 towards the cost of the roof.
