Blacksto Monday evening, June 7th the Guides and Brownies held a joint meeting which opened in the United Church, Rev. P. Romeril dedicated the New Canadian Flag, which was given the Guides by the O.N.O. club. Following the dedication ser- vice, the Guides and Brownies went to the C. E. room where the rest of the evening was spent in fun games, i. Carnag- han introduced the guest--Mrs. Michaeljohn of Toronto Garden Club who displayed several floral arrangements, explaining why, done in such a manner as she placed each flower, which was most interesting. Mrs. Neil Malcolm expressed the thanks of the gathering who had showed their appreciation by hearty claps after each .de- monstration.
