We are sorry to report that Mr. Wm. Pearson Sr. is again confined to hospital, Mrs. Bagshaw ,suffering from a broken shoulder, spent several weeks with her daughter Mrs. G. Last Friday evening in spite of the terrible cold weather enough for 10 tables of cards were at the hall, Prize winners were: Ladies High Ida Em- pringham; Ladies Low Norrine Cook; Men's High George Bea- ton; Men's Low Ne'son Car- negie; Door Prize David Clark. A very good crowd attended the dance in the Hall on Satur- day evening, and Mr, Murray who supplies the music has been asked to come back again on February 18th. The meeting for members on Wed., Jan. 26th was well at- tended. The cold weather does- n't dampen our interest in this interesting club. Everyone is willing to help and lots of worthwhile things are done and amusements planned to keep everyone on their toes. Mrs Chapman, President, opened the meeting by heartily welcoming all. The Citizen's Prayer, & O Canada were sung and all re- peated the Lord's Prayer. Two minutes silence was observed, for the late Mr. T. Cullen. En- quiries were made of the shut- ins, All miss their faces and hope they will soon be back at the meeting again. Business was discussed. We are going to miss seeing Mrs.. J. Robert- son as on Feb. bth she leaves by plane for a vacation in Florida Nor three months. Happy Holi- days.
