Alec Rice at the McDermott- Panabaker Funeral home. The pall bearers were Russel Coates, Wilbur Vance, Wilbur Toms, Sandy Moore, Earl Wallace and Leonard Clark. Interment was made in Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert, GEORGE HENRY LANE George H. Lane passed away very suddenly of a heart attack at his home at Port Bolster on March 24, 1966. He was in his 68th year. Mr, Lane was the eldest of four sons of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lane of Oshawa. In 1919 he married the former Vivian Christie and since then has lived in the Oshawa and Port Perry areas except for re- siding seven years in Windsor, Some six months ago he moved to Port Bolster. Mr, Lane was an employee of General Motors for 82 years and just retired in 1968. Mr. Lane is survived by his wife Vivian and eleven children, Mrs. Herb Howard (Evelyn) of Copper Cliff; Mrs, Grant Frank- lin (Ethel) of Port Perry; Mrs, Glenn Williams (Verna) of Stoney Creek; Mrs. John Pol- lard (Helen) and Mrs, Geo. Mahaffy (Gladys) both of Port Perry; Donald of Oshawa; Stuart, Wes,, Roy, Eric and Ross, all of Port Perry.
