A nice lot of clothing was received to be sent to Miss Muriel Stevens in the Congo. Plans were made for the next general meeting and bake sale. Barry Malcolm was pianist for the Queen and O Canada, Mrs, Walter Lawrence plan- ned a surprise party for her daughter Sylvia in honour of her 21st birthday. 38 friends from Nestleton, Blackstock, Pe- terboro, Toronto, Oshawa, Scar- boro, Seagrave and Pontypool attended Saturday night. A very pleasant evening of games and dancing was had, Sylvia re- ceived many beautiful gifts. A large number from 'this meeting closed with a hymn and Benediction 6 members and 8 visitors attended.
