Welcoming the guests were the Guild President, Mrs. L. ~ Patterson and Miss Marjory Williams, Attendance was gratifying -- some 170 people availed themselves of the op- portunity of viewing the beau- tifully hand made rugs, crafts and paintings. Naples, Port Perry, and Mrs, L. Patter- son, Port Perry.. The cutting of materials was demonstrated by Mrs, Grant Innis, Manchester and Mrs, Hilda Hartmann, Port Perry. Throughout the afternoon and evening, the tea tables were well filled. Many members took turns in serving, and in "cup o' tea", and arranging the plates of assorted goodies. - The Guild members are proud of their organization, and the Exhibition was a rewarding finale to a year of accomplish- 'ment, showing the capabilities and talents of the ladies. The Guild was organized a little over a year ago, and the inter- est of the members is due main- ~}{-ly-to.the help and generosity of | | the President, Mrs, Patterson, | who gives unstintingly™ of "her time in teaching hooking, or assisting in any capacity.
