LAY ve: EL gr Minor Softball News Peewee Playoff Greenbank are leading this best of five series two games to one as they lost a tight battle on Monday night only to come back on Wed. with a 11 to 10 victory over the Jack-] son Appliance team. This series should be settled this week, Squirt Playoff Greenbank has won the Dr. Dymond Trophy and the Squirt third straight year as they defeated Cartwright three games to none. Murray Lee has done a fine job with the Greenbank Squirts. Cartwright has made it to the finals the past two years but lost out both trips. Tyke's finish up The Saturday morning tyke games wound up on Sept. 17th with three games run off. In the first game the Giants de- feated the Dodgers 20 to 8. In the second game the Braves defeated the Tigers 16 to 18 in a tough battle. The two win- ners then met with the giants coming out on top by the score THANK YOU! The past week has seen sev- eral break-ins at the booth at the ball park. The local Police have been notified and will be investigating. It would appear that the men who give their time to provide-softball for the youth of Port Perry are not appreciated by the youth as it is youngsters who are stealing from the hand that Bravides softball.
