People in our community have been busy coming and going and we will get on with reporting some of the doings out our way. First a comment on the beauti- ful scenic surroundings. Could- n't have had it better and for those visiting from a distance will certainly have a memory or two to keep with them. ETHEL FRANKLIN After a short ilness, Mrs. Ethel Franklin passed away in Port Perry Hospital, Oct. 4th, 1966. The deceased was the wife' of the late Howard Levi Franklin. Born in Reach Town- ter of the Late George Frank- lin and Sarah Lamb. They farmed in Manchester for some forty - years. Mrg. Franklin leaves to mourn a daughter, Helen (Mrs, Har- old Bentley) of Ajax, a son Grant, who is on the home farm in Manchested, and four grand- children. Rev.
