Our senior team was inactive on Friday, It had been de- cided during the week to discon- tinue the senior team due to a lack of players. However, en- couragement from the coaches convinced the team to stay to- gethep and play Pickering Col- lege.in a play-off series. The girls volleyball teams competed in the district. volley- ball tournament held in Ux- bridge. The seniors won their series two out of three games® and go on to the Georgian Bay Secondary School Athletic fin- as their come and gone during the past week. It began on Wednesday, October 12th with thd tradi- tional opening assembly, The first highlight of the campaign was on Wednesday 19th when the top class at that time re- ceived as many chocolate bars home room teacher's weight. Mr. Law representing 11B tipped the scales at an a- mazing 192 lbs. to the surprise of all those looking on. Friday saw the close of the campaign with our objective exceeded by a considerable 'amount.
