The attendance was a little under par, as some hadn't got, their lanes and driveways opened after Friday and Satur- day's snow and drifting. . In the United Church the choir sang an Anthem--{ How Beautiful upon the Mountains". Rev. Romeril spoke on the "Need for Forgiveness". ----In-St- John's Church Rev. R. C. Rose chose as the theme of his sermon "Changes in Chris- tian Living and Church plans". Due to the snow drifting faster than plows could keep all roads opened and then storm changing to sleet and freezing rain, the schools closed at 2.00 p.m. Friday and buses took the pupils home lest it get much worse, but~ fortunately rain ceased before dark. Saturday over forty members ~of the Toronto Camera Club toured some of this area, taking pictures. At noon they gather- ed in the Christian Education room of the United Church and enjoyed a hot turkey dinner, which was served by the Esther unit of the U.C.W. Ford returned home Sunday from a six week visit in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Archer and Jim, Whitby and Miss Marilyn of Peterboro visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Archer Saturday.
