While patrolling 13,000 miles, 290 vehicles were checked with 233 drivers being charged and 55 warned. Many of the driv- ers charged were clocked through radar which is now in constant use. Why not assume the radar set is always just around the next corner. Whitby Detachment also in- vestigated 73 General Occurren- ces which included 7 Insecure Premises, 2 Auto Thefts, 2 Break & Enters, and 50 Miscel- laneous Occurrences which in- cluded traffic complaints, liquor offences, and requests for as- sistance.
