Farrow of Goodwood on Sunday evening. Mrs. Farrow who went in hos- pital March 16 will soon be home. Mrs. Beatty was entertaining her sister Mrs. Flo Bingham of Portland, Oregon. Some might remember Flo Sellars, former resident of Epsom. UNIT 9 The May meeting of Unit 9 home of Muriel Chambers on May 23rd with 17 members present. : Jean McDermott opened the meeting with a thought provok- ing poem, entitled, "I'll do what you want me to do dear Lord, but don't ask me to do it today.' The worship service was con- ducted by Edna Fowler and Gwen Taylor, with Audrey Lee leading in a very interesting and informative talk on the Reformation. A lively discuss- ion followed. Plans were presented for the June meeting and the change of date to Wednesday, June 14 was noted. The meeting is to be a family pot luck supper with a centennial variety pro- gram following. Each person is asked to bring their own cut- lery and dishes. Recipes and articles for the fall bazaar were brought in. The evening closed with a most delicious lunch served by Audrey Lee, Edna Fowler and Gwen Taylor. UNIT 7 Unit 7 met at the home of Mrs. Ray Litt on May 23 with 14 members present. Mrs. A. Fulford performed the duties of the president, Mrs. G. Barnett. Worship service followed. Mrs. G. Jackson, Mrs. inthe service. Scriptures, Rom: an 1-13 and chapter 12 were read. Hymn 263 was joyously sang. "What the church really is," our study period was foll- owed by questions and thorough discussion. Mrs. G. Jackson reported on the Bazaar. Business meeting followed. A pot luck supper is being planned for June 14 at Nine hospital calls and seven home calls were reported. A social hour followed the Mizpah Benediction. Jebson also paid the top-price of $650 for a heifer calf, a daughter of the Excellent and Superior Type sire, Thorn lea Texal Supreme. Murray P. Holtby, Port Perry, 4 paid $1,025 for a Very Good seven-year-old daughter of the Very Good and Superior Type sire Romandale Starbright, and Mrs. Marguerite Zarins, Can. nington, bought a Very Good five-year-old daughter of Thorn- lea Texal Supreme.
