It is too complicated to ex- plain in detail how the me- thod functions, but on this page are three pictures taken of the recently purchased equipment and in the stages they are operated. P. Hvidsten, publisher of the Star is seen in the top picture scanning a page size negative photographed by a camera. Wm. Harrison, editor is seen checking the negative for flaws or "pin holes", and this will be corrected by what is in the trade language called "opaquing". In the bottom picture is | Clive Boyd preparing to make a plate from the nega- tive. The negative is actu- ally 'burned' into a thin met- al plate with intense light. County Nine young farmers. from Great Britain are spending several months in Ontario as guests on various farms. Among the young farmers are Miss Ann Collie, who is one of the four girls and five boys visiting this country. farms in Ontario County, and is at present a guest of Miss Betty Munro, R. R. 1, Port Perry. She comes from In- verurie, Aberdeenshire, Scot- land, and will also take in Expo while she is here. The group arrived in Can- ada on May 2nd, and will re- turn to. Great Britain on August _8th. Dr. Dymond At Brock Township The Hon. M. B. Dymond was a guest speaker at the Centennial celebrations in Brock Township last Sat. Other guests and speakers were former premier of Ont- ario, Leslie Frost and Wm. Scott, M.P.
