-- aha RO Presented At Annual Music Recital ,0n Monday evening, June 12th, the Junior Students of Mrs. Marie Taylor presented their Recital in Port Perry United Church. These young people exhibited a very high standard of playing, & show great promise as musicians insfuture years. All perform- ers played from memory, and the programme consisted of Classical and Modern music. Guest Senior students at the conclusion were -- Glenn 'Taylor, Organ; Norman Wat- san, Vocal; Audrey Beau- champ, Piano. : Marlene Podres received the award for Highest Mark in Royal Conservatory Exa- minations last year--receiv- ing First Class Honours in Grade Four. General Proficiency Awards were presented to Kathy Son. ley and Jane Stulen. The girls wore full length evening gowns, and the men dark suits. Guest Vocal - Artist was Ross Cotton of Oshawa, who always manages to capture the attention of his audience, whether singing an Operatic Ross recently passed the As- sociateship examinations of the Royal Conservatory with First Class Honours.
