It was moved to give the following donations: $20. to the Bible Society, $5 to C.N.LLB. $25. to the Par- sonarge fund, $15. to the Hospital Christmas dolls, $150. to the church gener- al fund and $50 to the M. & M. Mrs. Gertie Collins gave a reading. Mrs. Reta Read- er presented a contest of jumbled words brought to mind by Remembrance Day. There were little prizes for all efforts. At this time we send our congratulations to Mrs. Robt. Heayn who will cele- brate her 97th birthday this month. Congratulations to Jim Dowson and Janet McMas- ter who were married on Sat., Nov. 11th. Mr. and Mrs. Don Ash- bridge were in Toronto on Sat. attending the funeral of Mr. Jim Taylor, uncle of Don and great uncle of On Mon. morning Don's uncle & Heather's grand-father, Mr. Frank Bonnetta, pass- ed away at the Oshawa & Accomodating Your Christmas Party.. Fifty-six members attended. A lot of business was discussed after Mrs. M. Cullen, president ex- tended a hearty welcome to all. Two minutes silence was observed in memory of those who gave their lives in World War I and also World War IL. Arrangements have been made for our Christmas din- ner to be held at Scugog Grace Church on Wednesday, December 6th. All those who will take bus please be at the Club at 6 p.m. Dinner will be at 6.30 p.m. Members please notify one of the executive if you would like to enjoy this dinner. Afterwards the bus will convey members back to the Club and an evening of ent- ertainment will be held. Sympathy is extended to the late Mr. J. Peel's family. Mr. Peel was our oldest member. We have many members over 80 years of age and of course a number a lot young- er. Our membership is still over a hundred, not so bad and we do welcome all those who come to make the Club | a success. The Queen, and then lunch was served by group in charge. A social time was spent. Some have a friendly visit and most play cards, returning home about 5 p.m. Next euchre is Satur- day, November 25th at 8.30 p.m. at the Hall. Meetings at the Hall the second and fourth Wednes- day of every month until further notice. Euchre on Saturday, 11th of November wasn't quite as well patronized as there was so many events that evening. 11 tables were set up and we hope to-see our usual crowd at the next euchre on Satur- day, November 25th at the usual hour, 830 p.m. We welcome all who would like to enjoy a game of cards. Nice prizes for lucky winn- ers and lunch served. Winners at last euchre as follows: Ladies first, Mrs. M. Wagner, second, Mrs. R. Cook consolation, Mrs. F. McLean; Gents high, Mr. O.
