Firemen Ask For Support Located in all the local stores are Muscular Dystro- phy boxes which have been placed there by the members of the local Fire Department to 'collect monies for this very worthwhile cause. The firemen have not can- vassed the public for this campaign. All the money raised comes from these boxes or individual dona- tions. Last year a little over one hundred dollars was raised for M.D. by the firemen. This year they would like to see this go much higher. They have received some individ- ual donations. If anyone or any organization would like to help the firemen in this worthwhile cause they can give their donation to any member of the fire depart: ment or send them to Bill Harriers, treasurer of the fire department. They urge you to be gen- erous when you see the mus- cular dystrophy boxes in the local stores, as they have to be picked up soon. Special! 1b.
